Koura, Lebanon — ABB Trading has been awarded a Silver at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for Les Oliveraies De Koura.
Les Oliveraies De Koura is a delicate-intensity extra virgin olive oil produced from the Souri cultivar. The oil is distinguished by herbaceous tones, ripe notes and a gentle walnut character, presented in a restrained style that reflects the variety’s natural balance.
ABB Trading draws on family olive-growing roots that stretch back more than a century, with groves that include trees said to be more than 500 years old. The business is currently managed by the third generation, which recently introduced the three-year-old Les Oliveraies De Koura label as part of a push to bring its extra virgin olive oil to a wider international audience. Further details about the project are available through Les Oliveraies De Koura.
The NYIOOC Silver positions Les Oliveraies De Koura among the year’s recognized extra virgin olive oils. In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, ABB Trading stands at #6 in Lebanon, #124 in the Northern Hemisphere and #127 Worldwide.
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world’s leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
