Bolaños de Calatrava, Spain — Aceites Olivar de Valle has been awarded a Silver at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Magnolio Cru brand.
Magnolio Cru is an extra virgin olive oil of delicate intensity, crafted from Koroneiki and Arbequina olives. The oil is marked by a gentle herbal character that underscores its restrained profile.
Aceites Olivar de Valle traces its modern origins to the Olivar del Valle farm in Bolaños de Calatrava, in the province of Ciudad Real. Encouraged by the quality of the oil obtained from olives grown on the farm, the producers expanded their agricultural activity and built a modern mill in 2002/03 to produce premium extra virgin olive oil under their own control.
The 2026 Silver adds to a steady record of recognition for Aceites Olivar de Valle at the World Olive Oil Competition. Overall, Aceites Olivar de Valle has earned five awards at the NYIOOC, including three Gold and two Silver distinctions, with awards spanning 2022 through 2025.
The NYIOOC result also strengthens Aceites Olivar de Valle’s standing in the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, where Aceites Olivar de Valle is ranked #26 in Spain, #73 in the Northern Hemisphere and #77 Worldwide.
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world's leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
