Seville, Spain — Aceites Yllanes Marini has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Isbilya Sikitita brand.
Isbilya Sikitita is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity. Produced exclusively from the Sikitita cultivar, Isbilya Sikitita is distinguished by notes of artichoke and green almond, lifted by herbal aromas and green tea nuances, with a peppery finish that builds on the palate.
Aceites Yllanes Marini produces extra virgin olive oil from more than 40 hectares planted in the heart of Aljarafe, in Seville. Alongside Sikitita, the groves include Arbequina, Arbosana and Koroneiki, with the producer dedicating significant resources to olive tree care while preserving native fauna and flora through its agricultural practices.
The 2026 Gold marks the second NYIOOC award for Aceites Yllanes Marini. The producer previously won a Gold in 2025, bringing its overall competition record to two Gold Awards.
The 2026 NYIOOC result also boosts Aceites Yllanes Marini’s standing in the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, where the producer is ranked #46 in Spain, #94 in the Northern Hemisphere and #95 Worldwide.
