Papadianika, Greece — Agricultural Cooperative of Papadianika has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Papadianika brand.
Papadianika is a medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil produced from Koroneiki olives. Marked by aromas of grass alongside green pepper and green banana, Papadianika delivers a bright, green-fruited profile that reflects the character of the fruit and careful handling from grove to mill.
Based in Papadianika, in the Laconia region, the Agricultural Cooperative of Papadianika brings together 218 member-producers. The cooperative has focused on representing local growers through a shared approach to production and quality.
The 2026 Gold builds on the Agricultural Cooperative of Papadianika’s growing record at the NYIOOC. With two Gold Awards and no Silver Awards overall, the cooperative has earned recognition in consecutive years, after first securing a Gold in 2025.
The NYIOOC result also strengthened the Agricultural Cooperative of Papadianika’s position in the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, where it is ranked #32 in Greece, #94 in the Northern Hemisphere and #95 Worldwide.
