Garzón, Uruguay — Agroland S.A. has been awarded two Golds at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for Colinas de Garzón Corte Italiano and Colinas de Garzón Bivarietal.
Agroland S.A. earned both awards in the medium-intensity category, adding to a track record that has increasingly positioned Uruguay among competitive origins as producers pursue export opportunities while building local appreciation for extra virgin olive oil.
Colinas de Garzón Bivarietal is a medium extra virgin olive oil distinguished by herb-driven aromas, layered with notes of arugula and parsley and carrying through to a peppery finish, with tomato nuances adding depth. Colinas de Garzón Corte Italiano, also medium in intensity, reflects a similarly fresh, savory profile marked by herbs and pepper, underscoring the stylistic consistency that has helped the Colinas de Garzón range stand out on the international stage.
Agroland S.A. is a Uruguayan agro-industrial company with family roots and more than 3,400 hectares dedicated to producing food and forest products of the highest quality and added value through Colinas de Garzón. The dual Gold results arrive as Uruguayan producers continue to use international recognition to support broader market access, a trend that gained momentum after strong showings at the competition in recent years.
