Italy — Azienda Agricola Annese has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Fruttato brand.

Fruttato is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity. Made from Coratina and Picholine olives, Fruttato is distinguished by fresh notes of arugula and tomato, with a lively, green character that reflects careful fruit selection and precise processing.

Azienda Agricola Annese produces extra virgin olive oil by directly cultivating its olive groves, processing the olives and bottling the oil in-house. The olives are harvested at optimal ripeness and milled immediately using a high-technology system, with strict cold extraction used to preserve natural aromas, flavors and nutritional properties for a consistent expression of the territory.

The NYIOOC Gold places Fruttato among the world’s elite extra virgin olive oils. In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Azienda Agricola Annese ranks #82 in Italy, #127 in the Northern Hemisphere and #129 Worldwide.

The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world’s leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
