Sambuca, Italy — Azienda Agricola Lolivo has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Miracolo brand.
Miracolo is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity. Crafted from Nocellara del Belice and Biancolilla olives, Miracolo is distinguished by notes of artichoke and green almond, lifted by arugula and fresh herbs and carried through to a black pepper finish.
Azienda Agricola Lolivo took shape in Sicily—in Sambuca—between Lake Arancio and the warm breath of the Mediterranean. The producer describes a luminous landscape where the wind is salty, silence seems to speak and time flows slowly and deeply, a place where olive oil has been crafted for centuries and remains integral to daily life.
The NYIOOC Gold places Miracolo among the world's elite extra virgin olive oils. In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Azienda Agricola Lolivo is ranked #80 in Italy, #127 in the Northern Hemisphere and #129 Worldwide.
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world's leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
