Italy — Azienda Agricola Marina Palusci has been awarded two Gold Awards at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for Novus and L’Uomo di Ferro Monocultivar Dritta.

Azienda Agricola Marina Palusci earned Gold for Novus, a medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil, and also secured Gold for L’Uomo di Ferro Monocultivar Dritta, a medium-intensity monovarietal produced from Dritta olives. Across the two winning oils, the sensory profile is marked by artichoke and herbs, with green almond and almond tones and a bitter almond edge that underscores the oils’ structure.

The 2026 results add to a long-running record for Azienda Agricola Marina Palusci at the NYIOOC. The producer’s full competition history now stands at eight Gold Awards and one Silver Award, with wins spanning multiple editions of the competition, including a Gold in 2025; a Gold and Silver in 2019; two Golds in 2018; and additional Gold Awards in 2017 and 2016.

The work of many generations has safeguarded the centuries-old olive trees on the lands cultivated by Azienda Agricola Marina Palusci, where the producer pairs inherited agronomic knowledge with modern technologies aimed at protecting quality through each phase of production.
