Monti Iblei, Italy — Azienda Agricola Santa Catrini has been awarded a Silver at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Arita brand.

Arita is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity, crafted from Biancolilla and Nocellara Etnea olives. The oil is distinguished by herbaceous notes, a measured peppery edge and a subtle touch of vanilla that rounds out the profile.
Azienda Agricola Santa Catrini is a fifth-generation family-owned olive farm inside the Monti Iblei PDO area in Sicily. “We are just passing through but the love does not change and, day-by-day, this love is matched by our land and olive trees,” said Azienda Agricola Santa Catrini. “Our simple ambition is to take care of this small corner of the world and leave it to those who come after us. The 2026 Silver adds to Azienda Agricola Santa Catrini’s established record at the NYIOOC, bringing the producer’s overall results to four awards, including two Golds and two Silvers. The farm previously earned a Silver in 2020 and Golds in 2019 and 2018.
The NYIOOC recognition also strengthens Azienda Agricola Santa Catrini’s standing in the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, where the producer is ranked #72 in Italy, #116 in the Northern Hemisphere and #119 Worldwide.
