Azienda Olivicola Petrazzuoli Wins 2026 NYIOOC Silver for Fontana Lupo

The medium-intensity Italian extra virgin olive oil is made from Frantoio, Ortice and Caiazzana olives grown near Caiazzo.

Ruviano, Italy — Azienda Olivicola Petrazzuoli has been awarded a Silver at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Fontana Lupo brand.

Fontana Lupo is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity, produced from Frantoio, Ortice and Caiazzana cultivars. Crafted in the hills of the Caiazzo area near Naples, Fontana Lupo reflects the agricultural character of the surrounding landscape.

Azienda Olivicola Petrazzuoli is located between the hills of Caiazzo, in Ruviano, an area recognized in the context of the European Union projects “City of Olive Oil” and “High Quality Olive Oil.” The Petrazzuoli Company extends over 17 acres exclusively cultivated with olive trees, many of them centuries-old.

The 2026 Silver adds to Azienda Olivicola Petrazzuoli’s established record at the competition. Across its NYIOOC history, Azienda Olivicola Petrazzuoli has earned six Gold Awards and one Silver Award, with consecutive Gold Awards from 2020 through 2025.

The NYIOOC result also strengthens Azienda Olivicola Petrazzuoli’s standing in the Olive Oil Times World Ranking.
