Mani, Greece — Bläuel Greek Organic Products has been awarded a Silver at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for Mani Organic.
Mani Organic is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity produced from Koroneiki olives. Marked by ripe fruit character, Mani Organic carries ripe olive and vegetable tones, with almond emerging on the finish. Careful attention to fruit quality and processing preserves the oil’s balance and clarity.
Fritz and Burgi Bläuel came to Mani in the 1970s in search of an alternative way of life. They soon started an organic project with local farmers, laying the groundwork for what became Greece’s first organic-certified olive oil, now exported worldwide. With an entrepreneurial vision shaped by respect for the cultural landscape, they built a model that links quality to agronomy and long-term relationships in the growing community.
Today, Bläuel Greek Organic Products also holds Naturland Fair certification, an independent standard designed to make ethical, environmental and social commitments transparent and measurable.
The 2026 Silver adds to Bläuel Greek Organic Products’ NYIOOC record of five awards overall, including one Gold and four Silver. The producer previously earned a Silver in 2025, 2023 and 2020, as well as a Gold in 2021.
The NYIOOC Silver places Mani Organic among the world’s award-winning extra virgin olive oils. In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Bläuel Greek Organic Products is ranked #27 in Greece, #86 in the Northern Hemisphere and #87 Worldwide.
