Ancient Olympia, Greece — Botsas Estate has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Dentri Blend Organic brand.

"This Gold Award is much more than a medal. It is a testament to our family's dedication, to long, challenging harvest days and to our belief that nature, when respected, gives back generously. The 2025–2026 season pushed us hard, but we held true to our values and our land. As a small family estate, every drop of Dentri carries a part of who we are. Thank you, NYIOOC. The journey continues.," said Konstantinos Botsas, Owner at Botsas Estate.

Botsas Estate produced Dentri Blend Organic as a medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil made from Koroneiki, Botsikoelia and Choraitiki olives. The oil is distinguished by an artichoke note that gives the profile a savory green edge.

Based in the hills of Ancient Olympia, Botsas Estate follows a philosophy rooted in Masanobu Fukuoka’s “Natural Farming.” At Botsas Estate, this approach centers on letting the grove’s ecology set the pace: no tilling, no pesticides and no forced control, with cultivation shaped by observation and restraint.

In the Botsas Estate groves, olive trees grow among wild herbs, almonds, pomegranates and spontaneous flora, forming a regenerative habitat intended to sustain itself through biodiversity rather than inputs.

The 2026 NYIOOC Gold places Dentri Blend Organic among the world’s elite extra virgin olive oils. In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Botsas Estate is ranked #57 in Greece, #126 in the Northern Hemisphere and #128 Worldwide.

The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world’s leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
