Braniteljska Zadruga Lintar Wins Gold at 2026 NYIOOC

The Croatian cooperative earned a Gold for its medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil from the slopes of Mount Kozjak above Kaštel Sućurac.

Kaštel Sućurac, Croatia — Braniteljska Zadruga Lintar has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for Braniteljska Zadruga Lintar.

Braniteljska Zadruga Lintar is a medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil distinguished by herbaceous aromas alongside hints of arugula, with green almond and bitter almond notes contributing to a clean, structured finish.

Located on the slopes of Mount Kozjak above Kaštel Sućurac, Braniteljska zadruga Lintar cultivates more than 2,000 olive trees using ecological principles, producing premium extra virgin olive oil shaped by the Dalmatian landscape. Braniteljska zadruga Lintar’s groves grow on reclaimed former extraction sites, transformed into fertile olive orchards through the dedicated work of cooperative members and volunteers.
