Florence, Italy — Carapelli Firenze has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Carapelli l'Ispirazione brand.
Carapelli l'Ispirazione is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity, distinguished by fresh herbal tones alongside notes of chicory and arugula, with radish-like bite and a ripe tomato character that carries through the finish.
With more than 100 years of experience in the art of olive oil production, Carapelli Firenze is the symbol of quality extra virgin olive oil in Italy and abroad, with exports amounting to approximately 30 percent of its business.
The 2026 Gold adds to Carapelli Firenze’s established record at the competition. Across its NYIOOC history, Carapelli Firenze has earned four Gold Awards and five Silver Awards. Recent results include a Gold in 2025; three Silver Awards in 2021; a Gold in 2020; and, in 2018, a Gold and two Silver Awards.
