Rome, Italy — Cibo Previ has been awarded two Gold Awards at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Previ Bimbi and Previ brands.

"Being recognized among the World's Best Olive Oils for 2026 humbles and encourages me. Earning 2 Gold Medals for EVOO Previ and EVOO Previ Bimbi reflects years of dedication, curiosity, and collaboration from my own personal health journey, to the tireless work of scientists advancing knowledge in nutritional science. Having received the gift of health, I consider it my duty to make a meaningful impact on customers' lives, which is the greatest success I can achieve.," said Sabrina Rea, Olive Oil Sommelier, Founder and CEO of CIbo Previ Inc. at Cibo Previ .

Cibo Previ earned a Gold for Previ Bimbi, a medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil produced from Itrana olives. The award adds to the producer’s 2026 recognition with a second Gold for Previ, a medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil made from Moraiolo.

Previ Bimbi is distinguished by herbaceous notes alongside impressions of green tea, arugula and ripe nuances, a profile that aligns with the producer’s focus on freshness and careful handling. The Gold Award for Previ underscores the range of Cibo Previ’s work across cultivars, with Moraiolo contributing its own character within the same medium-intensity style.

Cibo Previ stems from Sabrina Rea’s personal health journey and an approach centered on food as a tool for disease prevention. Rea’s goal is to bring awareness to a functional food lifestyle, grounded in the belief that “food is Mother Nature’s medicine,” with the farm framed as a functional food pharmacy and Previ extra virgin olive oil as the result of preserving bioactive ingredients from farm to fork. Previ stands for prevention, with an emphasis on maintaining quality and integrity through each stage of production, from cultivation through bottling.

The two Gold Awards at the 2026 NYIOOC build on Cibo Previ’s established performance at the competition. Across its full NYIOOC history, Cibo Previ has earned four Gold Awards, including two Golds in 2024, with no Silver Awards to date.

The results place Cibo Previ among the notable Italian performers in the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, where the producer is ranked #62 in Italy, #106 in the Northern Hemisphere and #110 Worldwide.

The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world's leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
