La Granadella, Spain — Cooperativa La Granadella SCCL has been awarded two Gold Awards at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for its Degustus and Degustus Ecologico brands.
Cooperativa La Granadella SCCL earned a Gold for Degustus, a medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil made from Arbequina olives. Degustus is distinguished by a balanced fruitiness with herb and floral tones, complemented by notes reminiscent of pine seed and vanilla and a bitter almond edge that adds structure to the finish.
The cooperative also secured a Gold for Degustus Ecologico in the delicate category, reinforcing the Degustus range’s ability to perform across different sensory profiles at the world’s largest olive oil quality contest.
Cooperativa La Granadella SCCL is dedicated to the production, packaging and marketing of extra virgin olive oils, milling its oil cooperatively with 300 partners who contribute to the production of Arbequina olive oil.
