Cultura Olive Oil wins 2026 NYIOOC Gold for Cultura

Arcadia, Greece — Cultura Olive Oil has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Cultura brand.

Cultura is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity produced from the Olympia cultivar, also known locally as Choraitiki. Marked by a green-fruited character, Cultura is distinguished by artichoke and fresh herb notes, layered with green almond and garlic, and finishing with an emphatic black pepper bite.

Cultura Olive Oil produces Cultura on a family estate in Arcadia in the Peloponnese, where rain-fed olive trees grow in a biodiverse setting near wooded slopes and the Ladonas River. Cultura Olive Oil uses non-invasive methods and emphasizes organic production, with a focus on preserving the polyphenols and nutritional value associated with the native Olympia cultivar. Cultura Olive Oil attributes the limited-production character of Cultura to the local microclimate, terroir and an approach rooted in respect for natural heritage.

The 2026 Gold adds to Cultura Olive Oil’s established record at the competition. Across five total awards at NYIOOC, Cultura Olive Oil has earned four Gold Awards and one Silver Award, including a Silver in 2024 and Gold Awards in 2023, 2021 and 2020.
