New York, United States — De Medici Imports has been awarded four honors at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, including a Gold for Marques de Grinon and three Silver Awards for Miraval, Badia a Coltibuono Albereto Albereto and L’Intenditore Melchiorri.
The Miraval extra virgin olive oil received a Silver Award in the Delicate category. Crafted from Picholine, Verdale, Tanche and Lucques olives, Miraval is marked by a gentle profile in which pine seed and fresh leaf tones meet tea-like aromatics and ripe fruit, finishing cleanly and softly.
De Medici Imports also earned a Gold Award in the Medium category for Marques de Grinon, a blend recognized for its balance and intensity. Two additional Silver Awards in the Medium category rounded out the results: Badia a Coltibuono Albereto, produced from a blend, and L’Intenditore Melchiorri, made from Moraiolo.
