Grand Luberon, France — Domaine de Gerbaud has been awarded a Silver at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Domaine de Gerbaud BIO AOP Provence brand.

Domaine de Gerbaud BIO AOP Provence is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity, crafted from Aglandau, Salonenque and Grossane. The blend is distinguished by floral aromatics and a green, unripe edge, with fig leaf and walnut nuances carried through to a peppery finish.

Domaine de Gerbaud is located in the foothills of the Grand Luberon mountains in Provence, where 1,200 olive trees are planted across nine hectares. The estate cultivates typical Provençal varieties, growing organic olives sustainably while drawing on longstanding French olive-growing traditions. Domaine de Gerbaud blends and bottles only extra virgin olive oil produced from its own estate.

“Thrilled to be recognised for producing excellent organic extra virgin olive oil,” said Louisa Sherman, co-owner at Domaine de Gerbaud. “All thanks to our team who produced such healthy olives!”

The Silver Award adds to Domaine de Gerbaud’s established record at the NYIOOC, where Domaine de Gerbaud has earned five awards overall, including three Gold and two Silver distinctions.

In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Domaine de Gerbaud is ranked #6 in France, #74 in the Northern Hemisphere and #78 Worldwide.

The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world's leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
