Ilia, Greece — Elean has been awarded a Silver at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Elean Estate Grown brand.

"We are honoured to receive a Silver Award at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, especially since it is our first participation at the contest, the first year of commercial launch of our product. This recognition is especially meaningful to a boutique producer like us because it reflects the dedication of our team behind every step of our work to produce early-harvest EVOO, not only rich in polyphenols but also balanced, unique, and tasty.," said George Fouskarinis, Producer at Elean.

Elean Estate Grown is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity made from Koroneiki olives. Produced in Ilia in the West Peloponnese, the extra virgin olive oil is distinguished by aromas of herbs and flowers, rounded by ripe olive character, with pepper and subtle vanilla emerging on the finish.

Elean is a boutique olive oil brand focused on producing high-quality extra virgin olive oil from Ilia, a region where olive cultivation has been established for centuries. Elean works with early harvest fruit and combines traditional practices with sustainable farming techniques and modern milling, with the stated goal of reinvesting in the land, supporting the local community and making olive harvesting economically sustainable while seeking to expand olive grove cultivation.

The Silver Award places Elean Estate Grown among the world’s recognized extra virgin olive oils. In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Elean is ranked #56 in Greece, #124 in the Northern Hemisphere and #127 Worldwide.

The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world's leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
