Ellora Fine Foods earns Gold and Silver at 2026 NYIOOC

The producer’s Koroneiki oils from Messara Valley and Kolymvari were recognized among the world’s best extra virgin olive oils.

Kolymvari, Greece — Ellora Fine Foods has been awarded a Silver at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for Ellora Farms Single Estate PDO Kolymvari.

Ellora Fine Foods also earned a Gold for Ellora Farms Organic PDO Messara Valley, bringing two awards to the producer’s 2026 results at the world’s leading olive oil quality contest.

Ellora Farms Single Estate PDO Kolymvari is a medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil made from Koroneiki olives. The oil is distinguished by a fresh green character, with artichoke and grass aromas, a green tea-like nuance and a peppery edge that builds through the finish.

Ellora Farms Organic PDO Messara Valley, also a medium-intensity Koroneiki extra virgin olive oil, received the producer’s Gold distinction in 2026, underscoring the consistency of Ellora Fine Foods’ approach across two protected designation of origin areas.

Ellora Fine Foods, which produces single-origin extra virgin olive oil, has emphasized ethical and sustainable practices from the farm to the consumer, aligning product decisions with traceability and origin.

The 2026 honors add to Ellora Fine Foods’ established record at the competition. Across its full NYIOOC history, Ellora Fine Foods has earned five Gold and four Silver awards, including one Gold and one Silver in 2025, one Gold and one Silver in 2021, two Gold in 2020 and one Silver in 2019.

In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Ellora Fine Foods is ranked #24 in the United States, #70 in the Northern Hemisphere and #72 Worldwide.
