Milas, Turkey — Eminems Olive Oil has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Oro di Milas brand.

Oro di Milas is a medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil produced exclusively from the Memecik cultivar in the Milas region. Distinguished by green fruitiness with notes of pear and banana, Oro di Milas reflects a careful approach to harvesting and processing designed to preserve freshness and balance.

Eminems Olive Oil traces its roots to 2020, when Emine Colin returned to Turkey in search of the culture she had left behind as a teenager. In Milas, she discovered olive groves that prompted the purchase of a single property, a decision that grew into 200 hectares of Memecik olive trees and a new facility equipped with a Mori-Tem mill. Eminems Olive Oil has also emphasized its role in the local economy, providing good-paying jobs to workers who take pride in producing top-quality extra virgin olive oil.

The 2026 Gold continues a consistent record for Eminems Olive Oil at the NYIOOC. With five Gold Awards and no Silvers overall, Eminems Olive Oil has earned one Gold in 2025, one Gold in 2024 and two Golds in 2023, underscoring a sustained focus on quality across multiple harvests.

The new recognition also strengthens Eminems Olive Oil’s standing in the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, where it is ranked #6 in Turkey, #73 in the Northern Hemisphere and #75 Worldwide.

The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world’s leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
