Italy — Entimio has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for Entimio Intenso.

At the same time, Entimio secured three additional Gold Awards in the 2026 competition: Entimio Cortese, a robust monovarietal made from Frantoio; Entimio Ardente, a medium-intensity monovarietal produced from Nocellara del Belice; and Entimio Italiano, a robust extra virgin olive oil also recognized with a Gold.

Entimio Intenso, a medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil produced from Coratina, is distinguished by its crisp artichoke character, layered herbaceous notes and green almond nuances, ending with a firm black pepper sensation. The profile reflects a style built around freshness and precision, with harvesting and milling choices aimed at preserving aromatic clarity and the healthful properties associated with high-quality extra virgin olive oil.

Entimio fosters Italian artisan extra virgin olive oil by rewarding authenticity, traceability and sustainability. Entimio selects only a few batches of high-quality extra virgin olive oil, crafted from Italian olives cultivated in small, family groves and cold extracted in local mills within hours of the harvest. Entimio emphasizes close attention to detail to preserve freshness and the oils’ sensory and nutritional characteristics.

The four Gold Awards at the 2026 NYIOOC add to Entimio’s established record at the world competition. Across all years, Entimio has earned 24 Gold Awards and three Silver Awards, for 27 total distinctions. The results include three Gold Awards in 2025; two Gold Awards and one Silver Award in 2024; four Gold Awards in 2023; three Gold Awards in 2022; four Gold Awards in 2021; one Silver Award in 2020; two Gold Awards in 2019; and two Gold Awards and one Silver Award in 2018.

In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Entimio’s performance reflects the consistency required to place repeatedly at the NYIOOC, where awards are based on sensory evaluation and chemical analysis.
