Porto Alegre, Brazil — Estância das Oliveiras has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for Estância das Oliveiras Frantoio.

Estância das Oliveiras Frantoio is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity made exclusively from the Frantoio cultivar. Distinguished by bright notes of pink pepper and green almond, the oil develops a layered aromatic profile that moves through artichoke and red fruits, with a subtle cinnamon nuance that lingers on the finish.

Estância das Oliveiras was created by the Goelzer family, founders of Quinta da Estância. The family has framed the project around a focus on the land and what it yields, describing a commitment to high-quality extra virgin olive oil production and an emphasis on fostering genuine encounters around food and agriculture.

The 2026 Gold adds to a sustained run of recognition at the NYIOOC for Estância das Oliveiras.
