Campanha, Brazil — Estância Dona Genoveva has been awarded two Silvers at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Olivas Alto Bonito and Olivas Alto Bonito Blend brands.
Estância Dona Genoveva received a Silver for Olivas Alto Bonito, a medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil produced from Koroneiki olives. Olivas Alto Bonito is distinguished by herbaceous tones, green almond and arugula, with black pepper and artichoke contributing to a lively, structured profile.
Estância Dona Genoveva also earned a Silver for Olivas Alto Bonito Blend in the Delicate category, adding a second 2026 NYIOOC recognition for the Olivas Alto Bonito range.
Estância Dona Genoveva is located in Brazil’s Campanha region, on the 31st parallel south, where La Pampa defines the dominant landscape of the country’s southernmost olive-growing areas. The first batch of Alto Bonito extra virgin olive oil entered the market in 2023, marking a new chapter for an agricultural operation established decades earlier.
Founded in 1988, Estância Dona Genoveva was dedicated to cattle and cereals before expanding operations to forestry and, more recently, to olive groves. That shift has resulted in award-winning extra virgin olive oil, with Olivas Alto Bonito and Olivas Alto Bonito Blend now joining the producer’s growing record at the NYIOOC.
The two 2026 Silvers bring Estância Dona Genoveva’s overall NYIOOC history to four awards: two Golds and two Silvers. The producer previously won two Golds at the 2023 NYIOOC.
In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Estância Dona Genoveva is ranked #15 in Brazil, #38 in the Southern Hemisphere and #120 Worldwide.
The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world’s leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
