"This year’s harvest was defined by dedication, precision, and respect for nature. The olive harvest was smaller than expected due to challenging weather, but the quality of the fruit was excellent. From carefully monitoring the groves throughout the season to selecting the optimal moment for early harvest, every decision was guided by our commitment to quality. Immediate cold extraction preserved the olive’s vibrant character, resulting in an oil with remarkable balance, freshness, and complexity.," said Dimitrios Farlekas, Head of production at Fi Olive Oil .

Athens, Greece — Fi Olive Oil has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Fi Olive Oil Blend brand.

Fi Olive Oil Blend is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity. The award-winning expression is distinguished by floral aromatics layered with olive leaf and nutty notes that recall walnut and pine nuts, delivering a rounded profile that emphasizes freshness and balance.

Fi Olive Oil is a third-generation farming operation focused on producing high-quality extra virgin olive oil from a privately owned family estate. Fi Olive Oil produces Greek olive oil exclusively from 4,000 olive trees cultivated on the family’s land, where the local microclimate is credited with shaping the olive oil’s identity and refined taste.

Fi Olive Oil’s olive groves are located at an altitude of 300 meters. Fi Olive Oil cites the grove’s orientation, climate and soil as key factors contributing to the fruit’s organoleptic characteristics, with cultivation and production decisions aimed at preserving the distinctive attributes expressed in the final extra virgin olive oil.

The 2026 Gold builds on Fi Olive Oil’s record at the NYIOOC. Fi Olive Oil has now earned a total of two awards at the competition, including one Gold and one Silver, after receiving a Silver in 2025.

The latest results also strengthen Fi Olive Oil’s position in the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, where Fi Olive Oil is ranked #31 in Greece, #96 in the Northern Hemisphere and #98 Worldwide.

The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world’s leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
