Grumo Appula, Italy — Fratelli Fiore has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Parco delle Lamie brand.
Parco delle Lamie is a robust Coratina extra virgin olive oil. Marked by a green, assertive fruitiness, Parco delle Lamie is distinguished by aromas of arugula and radish alongside almond nuances, carried through to a firm, lingering finish that reflects the cultivar’s intensity.
Fratelli Fiore traces its history through three generations and today farms 22 hectares of organic groves in the countryside of Grumo Appula, north of Bari. The most suitable area of the estate lies in a district known as Parco delle Lamie, from which the Parco delle Lamie extra virgin olive oil takes its name. Fratelli Fiore sells the oil under the Parco delle Lamie name.
The 2026 Gold builds on Fratelli Fiore’s record at the NYIOOC. With two Gold Awards and no Silvers overall, Fratelli Fiore added to the Gold earned in 2025, underscoring consistent performance at the international competition.
The NYIOOC Gold places Parco delle Lamie among the world’s elite extra virgin olive oils. In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Fratelli Fiore is ranked #51 in Italy, #93 in the Northern Hemisphere and #97 Worldwide.
