Greece — G-Team has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for Hypereleon Nutri – Arcadian Mountains.
At the 2026 competition, G-Team secured four Gold Awards across its Hypereleon portfolio, with jurors recognizing both medium and robust styles made from Greek cultivars. Hypereleon Taste - Arcadian Olives earned a Gold in the medium category from Koroneiki olives, while Hypereleon Gold was awarded a Gold in medium intensity from Olympia. In the robust category, Hypereleon Nutri – Arcadian Mountains received Gold for an Athinolia monovarietal, and Hypereleon Ultra Gold also won Gold as a robust Olympia.
G-Team produced Hypereleon Nutri – Arcadian Mountains as a robust extra virgin olive oil, distinguished by green pepper character with chicory-like bitterness and a black pepper finish that builds on the palate. Crafted from Athinolia, Hypereleon Nutri – Arcadian Mountains reflects a sensory profile that aligns with the producer’s emphasis on freshness and intensity.
G-Team is a group of independent producers focused on Greek agricultural products, with particular attention to olive oil and olive-derived foods. In describing its mission, G-Team emphasizes Greek products as components of a healthy diet and “health-protection foods” that contribute to wellness.
The four Gold Awards in 2026 add to G-Team’s established record at the NYIOOC. Across its full competition history, G-Team has earned eight Gold and four Silver Awards. The results include three Gold Awards in 2025, two Silver Awards in 2022 and a mix of one Gold and two Silver Awards in 2021.
The 2026 NYIOOC performance also strengthens G-Team’s standing in the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, where it is ranked #9 in Greece, #60 in the Northern Hemisphere and #61 Worldwide.
