Izmir, Turkey — Garisar has been awarded a Silver at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Garisar brand.
Garisar is an extra virgin olive oil of delicate intensity, produced from Arbequina olives. The oil is marked by ripe olive character and rounded, ripe notes, with golden apple and artichoke tones carried by a gentle herbal lift.
Garisar frames its work around the pursuit of distinctive flavors, describing a search for tastes that can be tied to specific places, histories and methods of preparation. Through that approach, Garisar focuses on selecting what it considers the most natural ingredients and presenting them to gourmets. More information about Garisar is available on the Garisar website.
The 2026 Silver adds to Garisar’s NYIOOC history, bringing its overall record to two Gold Awards and one Silver Award. Garisar previously won Gold Awards at the 2025 and 2024 editions of the competition.
In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Garisar is ranked #9 in Turkey, #82 in the Northern Hemisphere and #83 Worldwide.
