Edremit, Turkey — Gökduman Tarım has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Nermin Hanım Zeytinliği Edremit brand.
Nermin Hanım Zeytinliği Edremit is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity produced from the Edremit cultivar. Marked by green almond and fresh leaf aromas, it develops with herbaceous notes and olive leaf character, finishing with a clear touch of black pepper.
Gökduman Tarım produces extra virgin olive oil from olives collected from its own groves on the slopes of Kazdağı in the Edremit Bay region. The olives are cold pressed to preserve antioxidants.
The 2026 Gold adds to an established NYIOOC record for Gökduman Tarım. Across the producer’s full competition history, Gökduman Tarım has earned seven Gold Awards and one Silver Award, including one Gold in 2025, two Golds in 2024, two Golds in 2023 and one Gold and one Silver in 2022.
