Grumpy Goats Farm Earns Five Gold Awards at 2026 NYIOOC

The California producer’s 2026 honors include Gold awards for Organic Nocellara del Belice, Coratina, Picual, Pendolino and Organic Hojiblanca.

United States — Grumpy Goats Farm has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Grumpy Goats Farm Organic Nocellara del Belice brand.

Grumpy Goats Farm Organic Nocellara del Belice is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity, produced from Nocellara del Belice olives. The oil is distinguished by savory artichoke and green tomato notes, fresh herbs and ripe accents, finishing with a red chili pepper warmth that builds on the palate.

At the 2026 competition, Grumpy Goats Farm also earned four additional Gold awards: Grumpy Goats Farm Organic Hojiblanca received a Gold in the delicate category from Hojiblanca; Grumpy Goats Farm Coratina received a Gold in the medium category from Coratina; Grumpy Goats Farm Picual received a Gold in the medium category from Picual; and Grumpy Goats Farm Pendolino received a Gold in the medium category from Pendolino.

Grumpy Goats Farm is family-owned and operated by Pamela Marvel and Stuart Littell. The first olive trees were planted in 2008 on the family’s eight-hectare property, where Coratina and Picual have become flagship varieties known for producing pungent, peppery and spicy oils.

The five Gold awards add to a long-standing record at the NYIOOC for Grumpy Goats Farm. Across its competition history, Grumpy Goats Farm has earned 28 Gold and six Silver awards, including three Gold and one Silver in 2025, two Gold and one Silver in 2024 and five Gold in 2023.

The 2026 results for Grumpy Goats Farm came in a year that saw California producers collect a record-high 88 awards at the NYIOOC, underscoring the continued momentum of quality-focused production in the United States.

In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Grumpy Goats Farm is ranked #3 in the United States, #8 in the Northern Hemisphere and #9 Worldwide.
