Madrid, Spain — Ilaove SL has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for Ilaove by Tomas Milla.
Of medium intensity and crafted from Picual olives, Ilaove by Tomas Milla is distinguished by fresh notes that recall eucalyptus and green almond, lifted by the aroma of tomato leaf and green tomato and rounded out with a peppery, leafy arugula character.
Ilaove SL traces its roots to the Milla family’s multi-generational work as farmers and olive oil producers. In the current generation, Blas Milla and his son, Tomás Milla, created the Ilaove project, which was launched in October 2024 with the aim of bringing premium early-harvest extra virgin olive oil from the field directly to consumers. Ilaove SL can be found online at Ilaove.
The 2026 NYIOOC Gold places Ilaove by Tomas Milla among the world’s award-winning extra virgin olive oils. In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Ilaove SL ranks #73 in Spain, #127 in the Northern Hemisphere and #129 Worldwide.
