Lesbos, Greece — Jordan Olivenoel has been awarded two Silver Awards at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, recognized for the Jordan Olivenoel and Jordan Olivenoel Bio brands.

Both award-winning entries were medium-intensity blends, a result that underscores the consistent quality of Jordan Olivenoel’s approach to cultivation and milling on Lesbos. Distinguished by herbaceous aromas and ripe notes, the oils carry a savory freshness, with impressions of green tomato and radish lifted by a clean, lingering spice.

Founded in 1989 and led by Bastian Jordan, Jordan Olivenoel has built its identity around combining tradition and innovation, with a sustainable, no-irrigation approach and an emphasis on organic farming. Jordan Olivenoel controls harvest, processing and bottling in one, and processes olives quickly using a two-phase system.

The two 2026 Silver Awards add to a longstanding record at the NYIOOC for Jordan Olivenoel. Across the producer’s full competition history, Jordan Olivenoel has earned 10 total awards — four Gold and six Silver — including three Silvers in 2022, three Golds in 2021, a Silver in 2017 and a Gold in 2014.

In addition to its NYIOOC success, Jordan Olivenoel has pointed to other markers of quality, including recognition at Mario Solinas and Ovibeja, as well as IFS Food certification.

The 2026 results place Jordan Olivenoel among Greece’s leading award-winning producers. In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Jordan Olivenoel is ranked #34 in Greece, #96 in the Northern Hemisphere and #99 Worldwide.

The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world's leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
