Athens, Greece — Kallas Epicurean has been awarded a Silver at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Kallas Epicurean Collection Blend.

Kallas Epicurean Collection Blend is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity, produced from Koroneiki, Athinolia and Myrtolia olives. The oil is distinguished by notes of artichoke alongside herbaceous accents and floral aromas.

Kallas Epicurean traces its roots to the legacy of George Kallas, whose attention to detail, precision and craftsmanship helped shape the success of his business, MET, and later informed a set of family ventures. That focus on exceeding customer expectations led to the creation of the Kallas First Press Olive Oil and the Kallas Epicurean Family Collection, developed as a continuation of the family’s commitment to quality.

The 2026 Silver adds to Kallas Epicurean’s established record at the NYIOOC. Across its competition history, Kallas Epicurean has earned five awards, including two Gold and three Silver distinctions, with wins recorded in 2024 and 2025.

The 2026 result places Kallas Epicurean among the top-ranked producers in Greece. In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Kallas Epicurean is ranked #19 in Greece, #76 in the Northern Hemisphere and #77 Worldwide.

The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world's leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
