Zagreb, Croatia — Kapja Uja has been awarded a Silver at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Kapja Uja Oblica brand.
Kapja Uja Oblica is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity made from the Oblica cultivar. The oil is distinguished by a green, savory profile, with chicory and arugula on the nose and palate, a bitter-almond edge and an artichoke note that carries through to a clean, structured finish.
Kapja Uja is dedicated to high-quality extra virgin olive oil production. The 2026 result adds to the producer’s competition record at NYIOOC, bringing its total to two Silvers overall, following a Silver award in 2025.
The 2026 NYIOOC Silver places Kapja Uja Oblica among the year’s recognized extra virgin olive oils. In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Kapja Uja is ranked #36 in Croatia, #96 in the Northern Hemisphere and #98 Worldwide.
