Karepidis Olive Mill wins 2026 NYIOOC Gold for Ploumi

The Cretan producer earned a Gold Award for its medium-intensity Koroneiki extra virgin olive oil from Messara.

Messara, Greece — Karepidis Olive Mill has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Ploumi brand.

Ploumi is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity produced from Koroneiki olives. The oil is distinguished by peppery sensations alongside green almond, fresh leaf and herbal tones, lifted by floral aromatics that add breadth and persistence.
