Sykea, Greece — Kasell S.A. has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Phileos brand.

Phileos is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity. Distinguished by herbaceous character, unripe green notes and a clean spiciness, Phileos carries a fresh lettuce-like aroma and a lively finish. Careful processing is central to preserving these attributes through extraction and handling.

Kasell S.A. is located in Sykea in the municipality of Monemvasia, where it produces extra virgin olive oil using a sophisticated mill and a modern standardization facility. The Gold for Phileos adds to Kasell S.A.’s record at the NYIOOC, which now stands at two Gold and three Silver awards overall.

The 2026 Gold places Phileos among the world’s recognized extra virgin olive oils. In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Kasell S.A. is ranked #26 in Greece, #85 in the Northern Hemisphere and #86 Worldwide.
