Madrid, Spain — Kimia SL has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Anomia brand.

Anomia is an extra virgin olive oil of robust intensity, made exclusively from Manzanilla Cacerena olives. The oil is distinguished by green tomato aromas, a savory bitterness reminiscent of chicory and a finish lifted by lingering spice. Careful handling from harvest through bottling is intended to preserve purity, flavor and naturally occurring nutrients.

Kimia SL was founded by a pair of young entrepreneurs who built their project around Spain’s olive-growing landscapes. Kimia SL follows strict organic farming principles aimed at preserving biodiversity and maintaining the natural integrity of the land, aligning grove management and production choices with a focus on quality.

The 2026 Gold continues Kimia SL’s record at the competition. Kimia SL has earned two Gold Awards overall at NYIOOC, including a Gold in 2025.

The result places Kimia SL among the most awarded producers in the annual Olive Oil Times World Ranking, where Kimia SL is ranked #39 in Spain, #92 in the Northern Hemisphere and #96 Worldwide.

The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world's leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
