Minas Gerais, Brazil — Lagar H Agroindústria has been awarded two Gold Awards at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Lagar H Blend da Safra and the Lagar H Monovarietal da Safra brands.
The two medium-intensity extra virgin olive oils extend a consistent run of results for Lagar H Agroindústria on the NYIOOC stage. The producer’s 2026 performance builds on an overall competition record of nine Gold Awards and one Silver Award, including two Gold Awards in 2025, two in 2023, two in 2022 and a Gold and Silver in 2021.
Lagar H Blend da Safra and Lagar H Monovarietal da Safra share a fresh, green-leaning character, distinguished by notes that recall arugula and leaf alongside artichoke, with green almond tones and a peppery lift that carries through the finish. The Lagar H Monovarietal da Safra is produced from Koroneiki olives.
