Les Montagnes du Nord wins 2026 NYIOOC Silver for Cirta

The Tunisian producer earned a Silver Award for its medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil, crafted from four cultivars grown in northern Tunisia.

Nebeur, Tunisia — Les Montagnes du Nord has been awarded a Silver at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Cirta brand.

Cirta is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity, produced from Arbequina, Chetoui, Arbosana and Chemlali cultivars. Cirta is distinguished by a green, herb-forward profile, with notes of olive leaf and tomato, a radish-like pungency and a black pepper finish.

Based in the Nebeur Kef Region in northern Tunisia, Les Montagnes du Nord produces, extracts and bottles high-quality Chetoui extra virgin olive oil.
