Vieste, Italy — Mariella & Grace has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for Olio della Valle - Tre Ulivi, and a Silver for Olio della Valle Ogliarola Garganica.

Olio della Valle - Tre Ulivi, awarded Gold in the medium category, is produced from Coratina olives and is distinguished by a fresh green character, with arugula notes that carry through to a clean, lively finish. Olio della Valle Ogliarola Garganica, awarded Silver in the medium category, is made from the Ogliarola Garganica cultivar, reflecting the local variety long associated with the Gargano area.

Mariella & Grace operates in Vieste on the Adriatic coast of Gargano, a protected sub-region of northern Puglia. Within the landscape preserved by Gargano National Park, Mariella & Grace works in a lesser-known Italian region where land stewardship and a favorable climate have supported agricultural products noted for their purity and quality.

A newcomer to the North American market, Mariella & Grace is bringing its Gargano-origin oils to consumers in the United States, positioning Vieste and its surrounding groves as a source of distinctive extra virgin olive oils shaped by local cultivars and careful production.

The 2026 results build on Mariella & Grace’s established record at the competition. Across its full NYIOOC history, Mariella & Grace has earned five Gold and three Silver awards, including three Gold and one Silver in 2025 and one Gold and one Silver in 2024.

The 2026 awards also strengthen Mariella & Grace’s standing in the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, where Mariella & Grace is ranked #26 in Italy, #65 in the Northern Hemisphere and #67 Worldwide.

The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world’s leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
