Kistanje, Croatia — Serbian Orthodox Church, Diocese of Dalmatia, Monastery Krka has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Maslinovo ulje Manastira Krke brand.
Maslinovo ulje Manastira Krke is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity. Distinguished by fresh herbal aromas, it opens with tomato leaf and grass notes that carry through to a clean, balanced finish.
Serbian Orthodox Church, Diocese of Dalmatia, Monastery Krka is based at Krka Monastery, a Serbian Orthodox monastery dedicated to the Archangel Michael. Located near the Krka river, three kilometers east of Kistanje in central Dalmatia, the monastery is officially protected as part of Krka National Park and is considered the best-known monastery of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Croatia. Krka Monastery dates back to 1350.
The 2026 Gold continues the monastery’s record at the NYIOOC. Serbian Orthodox Church, Diocese of Dalmatia, Monastery Krka has earned four awards overall, comprising two Gold and two Silver distinctions, including Silver awards in 2024 and 2025 and a Gold in 2023.
