The Italian producer earned top honors for Masseria Carrassa, a medium-intensity monovarietal Cima di Mola extra virgin olive oil.

Italy — Masseria Carrassa has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for Masseria Carrassa.

Masseria Carrassa produced Masseria Carrassa from Cima di Mola olives, crafting an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity. The profile is marked by green almond and tomato, with tomato leaf and arugula aromatics and a black pepper edge that lingers on the finish.

Masseria Carrassa is situated among 350 olive trees that are more than a thousand years old. The beauty, size and uniqueness of the trees add a very special feeling of belonging, calmness and tranquility to one's mind.

The 2026 Gold adds to Masseria Carrassa’s established record at the NYIOOC. The producer’s full competition history now stands at one Gold and two Silver awards, following Silver recognitions in 2024 and 2025.
