Athens, Greece — Melissa Kikizas S.A. has been awarded a Silver at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Athena brand.
Athena is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity, produced from Koroneiki olives. The oil is distinguished by an artichoke character and fresh herb notes, with green almond and arugula on the palate and a peppery finish.
Founded in 1947 from the vision of Alexandros Kikiza, Melissa Kikizas was created to build a food industry centered on turning local raw materials into high quality products.
