Athens, Greece — Menelaos GmbH has been awarded two Silvers at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, earning recognition for the Menelaos and Agamemnon brands.
Menelaos GmbH received a Silver for Menelaos, a medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil produced from Koroneiki and Manaki olives. Menelaos is distinguished by herbaceous notes and a black olive character that underscores its savory profile.
Agamemnon was also awarded a Silver, recognized in the delicate category and produced exclusively from Koroneiki olives. Together, the two awards highlighted Menelaos GmbH’s range, from a gentler expression in Agamemnon to the more assertive medium profile of Menelaos.
Menelaos GmbH presents Menelaos organic ultra-premium (UP) olive oils as handmade in small quantities, emphasizing devotion, care and time as the foundation of its approach. Menelaos GmbH also describes ultra-premium olive oils as accounting for less than one percent of all extra virgin olive oils, framing its production around strict quality expectations.
The two 2026 NYIOOC awards place Menelaos GmbH among the most recognized producers in this year’s competition. In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Menelaos GmbH is ranked #57 in Greece, #126 in the Northern Hemisphere and #128 Worldwide.
