Skadrin, Croatia — Mudrina has been awarded a Silver at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Mudrina brand.

Mudrina is a medium-intensity extra virgin olive oil produced from Oblica and Krvavica olives grown in the Skadrin area of Dalmatia, near Krka National Park. The oil is distinguished by green pepper aromatics, a bitter almond backbone and a fresh, leafy lift reminiscent of arugula, closing with a clean, spicy sensation.

Made by a family producer with 300 olive trees, Mudrina traces its cultivation practices to techniques passed down through generations while incorporating modern methods of organic cultivation. Mudrina also emphasizes biodiversity in its groves, where aromatic herbs grow among the trees and are allowed to regenerate naturally, a practice the family says contributes to the character and richness of Mudrina.

The 2026 Silver adds to Mudrina’s established record at the NYIOOC. Across its full competition history, Mudrina has earned eight awards: six Gold and two Silver. The producer has won a Gold each year from 2020 through 2025, and previously received a Silver in 2019.

The result also strengthens Mudrina’s standing in the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, where Mudrina is ranked #14 in Croatia, #64 in the Northern Hemisphere and #66 Worldwide.

The NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, widely regarded as the world's leading olive oil quality contest, is a trusted reference for consumers and industry professionals.
