Muela-Oliva wins 2026 NYIOOC Gold for Olisone

The Spanish producer earned a Gold Award for its medium Hojiblanca extra virgin olive oil from Andalusia’s Subbetica mountains in Córdoba.

Córdoba, Spain — Muela-Oliva has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for the Olisone brand.

Olisone is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity produced from Hojiblanca olives. Marked by green almond and tomato leaf aromas, Olisone develops with notes of arugula and pine nuts and finishes with a clean black pepper bite, a profile shaped by careful handling from harvest through extraction.

For more than 50 years, Muela-Oliva has made its living from olive oil in the heart of Andalusia, in the Subbetica mountains in Córdoba. From that setting, Muela-Oliva has emphasized patience and care in pursuit of high-quality extra virgin olive oil.

The 2026 Gold adds to Muela-Oliva’s established record at the competition. Across its participation at the NYIOOC, Muela-Oliva has earned 11 Gold Awards, including wins in 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2018, 2017 and twice in 2016.

The latest award also strengthens Muela-Oliva’s standing in the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, where Muela-Oliva is ranked #16 in Spain, #50 in the Northern Hemisphere and #51 Worldwide.
