Tirana, Albania — Musaj has been awarded a Gold at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for Musai Olive Oil.

Musai Olive Oil is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity produced from the indigenous Kalinjot cultivar. The oil is distinguished by green almond and leaf aromatics, a clean artichoke note and a peppery finish that underscores its freshness.

Crafted in Albania since 1995, Musaj produces certified organic olive oil from hand-harvested fruit, cold-extracted at a modern mill. Musaj is certified under EU and USDA NOP standards, with an emphasis on preserving natural polyphenols and bright green character through careful handling and processing.

In addition to the NYIOOC Gold, Musai has been awarded more than 20 international gold medals, reflecting a sustained focus on quality and consistency in competitive evaluation.
