Brazil’s Puro Frantoio and Puro Koroneiki earned Silver Awards for medium-intensity extra virgin olive oils at the world’s leading quality contest.

São Paulo, Brazil — Nostra Terra Agroindustrial has been awarded a Silver at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for Puro Koroneiki.
At the same time, Nostra Terra Agroindustrial also earned a Silver Award for Puro Frantoio, confirming a two-award showing at the 2026 competition with both entries recognized in the medium-intensity category. Puro Koroneiki is produced from Koroneiki olives, while Puro Frantoio is made from Frantoio, highlighting a focused approach to monovarietal extra virgin olive oil.
Puro Koroneiki stands out for its balanced medium intensity, marked by chamomile aromatics and a green, savory edge that recalls artichoke and arugula. On the palate, bitter almond and green banana notes build structure and depth, reinforcing a clean, fresh profile. The same sensibility toward clarity and freshness carries through the Puro range, where varietal character is allowed to define the oils’ expression.

In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Nostra Terra Agroindustrial is ranked #18 in Brazil, #46 in the Southern Hemisphere and #128 Worldwide.
