— Nuvo.Oil has been awarded a Silver at the 2026 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for Nuvo Estate Blend.
Nuvo Estate Blend is an extra virgin olive oil of medium intensity, marked by ripe-olive character and rounded, ripe notes. The Silver recognition places Nuvo Estate Blend among the awarded oils at a competition that is widely followed by buyers, retailers and consumers as an indicator of quality.
Founded in 2012 by two brothers, Nuvo.Oil took its name from “olio nuovo,” reflecting a focus on delivering fresh olive oil. Over more than a decade of participation at the NYIOOC, Nuvo.Oil has built a consistent competition record, earning 15 total awards: nine Golds and six Silvers.
Nuvo.Oil’s NYIOOC results include two Silver Awards in 2024; two Gold Awards and one Silver Award in 2023; one Silver Award in 2022; one Gold Award and one Silver Award in 2021; three Gold Awards in 2020; two Gold Awards in 2019; and one Gold Award in 2018.
In the Olive Oil Times World Ranking, Nuvo.Oil is ranked #22 in the United States, #69 in the Northern Hemisphere and #71 worldwide.
